It's Dad's big night! After years of fruitless endeavor he's finally won a trophy at his local pigeon breeders club and it's presentation night, but Mam and the fates seem determined to spoil it all. Meanwhile saucy daughter Doreen has got plans for a big night of her own and has invited boyfriend eager Eric round for a night of teenage passion! This is the plot of Frank Vickery's hilarious comedy set in a confused and chaotic household somewhere in South Yorkshire in the seventies.
